The worst movie I have ever seen

Hello again, badmoviephiles.  I know you're all probly wondering what I think is the worst film of all.  Well the absolute worst of the worst film in my humble opinion was directed by Rob Zombie himself.  After seeing it, I think they should ban him from the movie industry so he'll stick to recording trash metal songs.  The reason I call this the worst film in history is not because of the reality flaws in it.  Its the fact that Rob made a bunch of serial killers with no redeeming moral values whatsoever the heroes of this film.  I shouldn't say heroes because they do absolutely nothing heroic in the film.  This film was none other than the Devil's Rejects.  I'm sure glad there hasn't been any new films from Rob Zombie in the past decade or so.  Hopefully, the MPAA put a strict ban on all his material.
Babe, I'm leaving.  I must be on my way.  The time is drawing near.  The train is going.  I see it in your eyes.  The love beneath your tears.  And I'll be lonely without you.  And I'll need your love to see me through.  So please me.  My heart is your hands.  And I'll be missing you...

No new horrors from Rob Zombie in the last decade or so?

Hmmm....HALLOWEEN (2007)

Personally...I enjoyed the DEVIL'S REJECTS because of,not in spite of, the fact that he played with the emotions of the audiance. You yourself defined the sadistic trio as heros...hence his ploy works,to some extent.

As for his HALLOWEEN....I liked the first part...when Micheal was a youngster...than it became a run of the mill slasher pic.

Yep.

There's Frogs. :hatred: :hatred: :hatred:

Mr. Zombie does make some very mean spirited films though.

Doggett, I know you have a copy of "Frogs" that you cuddle up with each night as you go to sleep.   :bouncegiggle:

WW, I agree with you about the quality of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS (not that it should be banned--hope that part was an exaggeration).  Definitely in the bottom 5% of all movies I've seen, although there are worse.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Yeah, The Devil's Rejects is a bad film. However I too have seen far worse films. Can't say it's in the bottom 5% of bad films I seen, maybe bottom 25% of them. Granted I have searched out for really bad movies anyway I can because i think I have a maschistic tendency when it comes to films.

Boy...lotsa hate for DEVIL'S REJECTS....lemme think...considering that the Elmstreet films,HALLOWEEN,Jason and his ilk,SAW,HOSTEL,all are loaded with murder and torture....and have fans all over the place...yet when the monsters are given human qualities-it freaks out and turns off viewers. Undertstandable. But I believe that is what Mr.Zombie was going for. A horror film that horrorfies.

What Rob Zombie did was infuse lot's of very black graveyard humor into a very sadistic LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT type of film. And that catches a lot of viewers of guard.... people don't like their emotions played with like that. He walked a very thin line....the scene in the motel room was a little too much for me....I think the movie could have done without the forced BJ .

But I enjoyed the performances of all the players, and some of the dialouge is bizzarley funny....and the movie is   horrific. It worked for me. And the choice of music was good.

Plus I liked the cast of horror and expliotation vets and bit parts by PJ Soles,Mary Wornov,Ginger Lynn etc.

I enjoyed THE DEVIL'S REJECTS.  I also enjoyed HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES.  But I hated Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN remake.

Just the opposite for me, Berg - I didn't really care for REJECTS or CORPSES, but really liked Halloween!

Mr. DS

RC I think kind hit the nail.  Rob Zombie I think aims to recapture the old exploitation genres and camp films.  There is really no difference between The Devil's Rejects and The Hills Have Eyes or Last House On The Left.  Though I'm not a fan of the genre, I can appreciate where he was coming from.

I have a strong dislike for Hostel.
I dislike Eli Roth in general.

I also don't like Cabin Fever, everyone told me it was great but I couldn't see why.
