Supposedly the company that made this video, Malphrus, has verified its authenticity and the things have been positively identified as worms.

However, look starting at 1:50.  You can see a white object coming out of the third one.  Looks to me like a wire or control rod such as would be used to manipulate a prop.  Also, the second one goes slack and starts to sag before the camera pans to the third one, which is what would happen if it were a prop and somebody had to let go of its controls, move to the other side of the pipe, and get set up to work the third one.

But, like I said, it's apparently been verfied as real and the things identified.  It still seems fake to me.
