I feel sorry for people who can't understand why this is an awesome movie.  Yes, it's flawed.  Hell, it's nothing but one big flaw.  But flaws give something character, give it personality, make it different.  I'll take a flawed treasure like Starcrash over a hundred big-budget assembly line movies.
