Pretty good list but still overlooks several great films such as the Quatermass films, Island of Lost Souls, Island of Dr. Moreau, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1932), the Wings of Honneamise, the Patlabor films, Castle in the Sky, Pi, Seconds, The Manchurian Candidate, The Man Who Changed His Mind, Ghost in the Shell, The Incredible Shrinking Man (to name just a few)...I also wouldn't have Independence Day , Stargate, Spaceballs, Star Trek (2009), The Butterfly Effect on a top 100 list...

This one isn't too bad either but yeah also overlooks some great films yet includes some real top notch ones the other list left off. Lucky for us sci-fi fans there's actually tons of great sci-fi out there making it almost impossible to narrow it down to a top 100 list...I know I just cannot, I always end up adding to it with more I remember..
