Andrew and Ethan barely came out of this movie alive when they reviewed, now, another poor soul dares to view this movie.  Poor Nostalgia Critc, it'll take a long time to recover from this movie.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I saw this when I was very, very young and was told that I loved it (!?). I always rembered it (albeit alot differently) and it really didn't seem suitable for "kids", being quite dark to me. Anyway, it does not hold up well now (and didn't then I suppose), awful.....but I still like it.  :teddyr:

My wife used to work in an independently owned video store who owned this film on VHS.  I had her get it for me one night and I have to admit it was stupid.  But stupid in a mildly lovebale way although much like the reviewer pointed out, the dialog and one trick pony jokes were painful after awhile.  The film sure does scream 80s doesn't it?

I loved the cards though.  I wish I still had my old ones.   :bluesad:

You can find the old ones on eBay.. and the NEW series too!  (They started a new series a few years back, not sure if they're still going though, as I can't find them anywhere...)

Oh, yeah, just checked http://www.garbagepailkids.com/ and they're up to series 7 on the new ones, although I dunno who sells them, locally I can't find them at Target, Toys R Us, K-Mart, or any other place you'd think would sell them (Wal-Mart had them for awhile, but they quit selling them as well...)

Weird.
