Madeleine Stowe.

Seems like she (and Julianne Moore) was in every movie I rented throughout the 90s. Haven't seen Madeleine Stowe in anything since The General's Daughter back in 1999.

I'm gonna say it... Bruce Campbell!!! I know he is the B-movie king and all but he should have made it bigger. I guess that is his charm but still...

I'm going to throw Darwin Joston into the mix a.k.a. Napoleon Wilson from Assault On Precinct 13. He had great potential as a star but somehow never quite made it.

Nathan Phillips- Maybe it's just not his time, but I remember hearing a few people speculate that he was likely to go somewhere. After he did Snakes on a Plane and Redline, I haven't seen him. It seems he's become more B-level, especially with one of his movies being released on Horrorfest 3.

Steve Guttenberg- He still acts, but when's the last time we've actually seen him in a theatrical film? It Takes Two? Even though he did a good number of 80's comedies outside Police Academy, he'll forever be known as Mahoney.

Sadly, I think Guttenberg wishes that It Takes Two was his last theatrical film. I believe he had one more out in theaters, called Zeus and Roxanne. It was about him, his son, a woman, her daughter, and they ended up dating because Guttenberg's dog, Zeus, became friends with the woman's dolphin, Roxanne.

There's no way that doesn't turn out to be a crapfest. Well, at least Hollywood was trying to be original, , I'm sure nobody came up with THAT idea before. . .

Why wasnt he more famous outside the B/cult movie genre? He's so talented it just shames me that he's not better well known.

One more name comes to mind:Warren Oates. Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia is the only movie where he had a real chance to shine, but he never got all the credit he really deserved.

Jeffrey Combs is another actor like Bruce Campbell famous for his B-movie cult status, that aside from them, and a number of guest appearances on the various Star Trek shows, hasn't become a familar name in many homes.

Seriously, the guy is an awesome actor. I first was introduced to him in The Re-Animator and seen him in a number of other 80s/90s horror films. Glad he's still willing to go back to stuff like he did with that Re-Animator sequel a few years back.

Another actor I feel should have become more famous, also was in the first two Re-Animator movies alongside Jeffrey Combs. The actor is Bruce Abbott. Seriously, the scene he did in the movie Bad Dreams where he imagines killing his jerk of a boss with his car has to be seen by all.

Well this is probally an odd addition to the list but I would have to say Ryan Bollman. He was a very talented kid in the Children of the Corn sequel. His other films were lesser known but still interesting. He deserves a chance at better fame. Also, hes not too bad looking nowadays...

I watched Dead Heat the other day and I realized that Treat Williams has never really "made it". He's had a good career as a character actor and b-movie staple, but he deserved much more. He had the big star looks, real acting talent, and charisma to spare.

He was a huge part of what made NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD so memorable. But he couldn't parlay it into major roles, even after NIGHT became a cult hit.

Yeah, an I thought he was brilliant in Prince Of The City. You don't really hear of him these days.
