What was that film in the mountains?

I saw what I can only remember was a type of documentary about a very poor white family living in the mountains somewhere in the U.S.  These people were dirt poor.  I remember that there was a son who had gotten a local girl pregnant.  This son also used a lot of profanity towards his parents, especially his father, and it didn't seem to bother them one bit.  The only other thing I remember is the son saying to his mother one day:  "Well moma, I gotta have backer."  Of course meaning he was out of chew or cigarettes, don't remember which one.

Anybody got an idea of what this was?  I searched HBO archives...nothing.  Wish I had more info to give you.  Thanks for your time.

Yeah, that's what sprang to my mind too. Awesome, awesome documentary. Mudlick Flats, Kentucky, if I remember right.
