And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Psycho Circus

Good. But they're only doing it 'cause they have a new movie planned.

I always like when they say something stupid like "he'll stay dead for at least two years", which is what they said when Cap died.  That's basically very obvious code for, "he'll be brought back in two years".  The same stupid thing happened with Batman, who got killed a while back (though his soul is still around, apparently).  He'll be back to normal in another year and a half or so.

Along with SGT.FURY and his HOWLING COMMANDOS,Cap was my favorite comic book in the 70's. Kirby era,,of course!

So, what do you think?  Staged death, clone, alternate reality Cap brought into "our" dimension, or the old "They actually killed a shape shifter" bit?

This might not make me some friends, but personally I think he should stay dead a while longer.  Cap's death was one of..if not the only death in comic books recently that had any wait or meaning to it.  Even Martian Manhunter and Batman in Final Crisis just seemed more like ways of being shocking than real dramatic moments.  Heck, even I was saddened by Cap's death-and I really don't read his book.

Secondly, there were some nice tributes in some books.  Like Thor making the world give him a moment of silence.

I am currently reading Ghost Rider. So it'd be cool if Cap's return from death had something to due with him escaping Zadkiel, an evil angel who just conqured Heaven.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Or he actually comes back from the dead.  It's happened in Marvel before, I believe.

I'm guessing something with the Super Soldier serum brings him back, or that he was actually in a state of suspended animation, etc.

Zombie Cap?

That's been done.

(See Marvel: Zombies and awesome series BTW.)

Course, he was known as Colonel America in that reality.
