One of the horrible lines that got me into b-movies. So "heat" is "thermal", and somehow speeds up mutations?

That one always stood out the most when I watched that movie.  Ugh.

It is when the Tim Robbins (That scientist guy) meets Howard backstage after the concert.  The Nostaglia Critc brought it up in his review, so go there if you need to fully understand it.
