Almost any romantic comedy - usually they're unfunny not to mention sickening

"The Lizzie McGuire Movie" -  :hatred: I saw this with my sister and a bunch of her obnoxious friends for her birthday one year in the theater. I still regret going.

"Spiceworld" - I have no idea why but when I was younger my mom took me and my older brother to see this in the theater. It was probably just to get out of the house but still...  WHY MOM!?

Now that I think of it, I have seen lots of crappy movies in the theater.  :bluesad:

How come every once in a while someone starts a post like this. I think they must be ready for my "use of emotional energy" speech

If you hate something so much you need to burn it, then you're wasting emotional energy for no cause.  When your really hate things, it's best to ignore them.

For example take "the I wasted two hours of my life on that movie" statement for hating a film. So,what do you do, you go around ranting how you hate it to anyone who will listen wasting more hours of your life on the same subject.  If you would just ignore the initial experience, your life would be calmer and you could get on with it without constantly reminding yourself of a negative experience.

If someone else brings it up, you just say "yeah, that sucked" (or some other appropriate phrase). and then drop the subject.

An ignored movie is much less likely come up on your radar than one that's constantly being fumed about.  Of course, you still have to worry about  weirdos like the ones
that inhabit this site that rant about what a classic it is.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.
