The New Type Of Pop Up! (Now 50% more annoying!)

So, yeah, just when my pop up blocker was starting to cut back on all those Websites that open websites I don't want or not, some jackass when and developed ANOTHER type of pop up to annoy us.

Ever seen this? You click a link, found out the site isn't what you thought it was, you hit "x" to close it and then a dialog box pops up and says something like, "WAIT! Are you SURE you want to pass this opportunity by? We have an OPERATOR standing by RIGHT NOW who can assist you!" And you have o click "Ok" to get rid of thing.

Errrrr!!!

They gotta find a way to cut back on those damn things.

I use the Maxthon browser. IMO it's the best for blocking unwanted ads/popups.

Yup, the more they annoy the living hell out of me, the more stuff I'll buy from them. Perfectly logical. Brilliant even.

Tell me how it gos for you ghouck, I think you'll love the mouse gestures. You know how you always have to hit that back button? or refesh button? not anymore, just hold down right click anywhere on screen draw a line back and that page gos back. Its really genius.

It's web site has some nice skins as well.

I tried it, , not bad at all, much better than IE. There are a few things I didn't care for, but, this is coming from a minimal install of firefox. I'll probably try back and forth between the two for a while before I decide.

Sounds like they stole the idea from Opera, my browser of choice. I may look into it as well, just to compare the two.
