This one wasn't a huge success back in the day, pulling in about $10,500,000 only. Watched this yesterday and it actually managed to make me laugh. Which can't be said about most recent comedies I have seen. Moving Violations is silly but it also has a few genuine funny slapstick moments and a good sense for humorous situations. The only sore spot in my opinion was the casting of Bill Murray's younger brother John. He is not funny. Not at all. But the rest was entertaining as hell. One of the most underrated comedies of the 80s. Worth checking out

Just noticed the Trailer shows scenes not seen in the movie. No deleted scenes on the DVD either  :bluesad:

John Murray did try to act like big brother.  Big mistake.  Overall I like the movie.  I would give it a 7 out of 10.  I would recommnend the movie.

Oh I really loved this silly movie, especially the part that the woman is going for a lube job; although the idea is very stupid as if a 7th grader written it, it was also quite silly because it seemed like a 7th has actually written this...

The lube job was pretty funny.  I could not imagine drinking a quater of oil (Wesson).  UGGGH.

Later,

My favorite part of that was the class safety video "Blood Flows Red on the Highway"

I wonder if the title "Blood Flows Red on the Highway" isn't a combination of the titles of two films we actually saw in driver training: "Red Asphalt" and "Death on the Highway."

Hammock Rider

You gotta love Jennifer Tilly in the anti-gravity chamber scene.
