Uh... I feel dizzy (again)

Dunno what keeps causing this.. but it's like, I go outside and do some stuff during the day, usually go shopping, or head to a building and work for a bit, then, when I'm roaming around outside (mostly in the car) I start sweating like crazy (even if it's not that particularly hot), then when I get back in my apartment, I feel totally dizzy/tired and have to lie down. Depending on how recently I've eaten I'll sometime feel sick as well.

Am I just not getting enough fluids during the day or something?  Keep meaning to ask my doctor about it, but I keep forgetting.

Guess it's mainly cause I'm heavy, but still.. just walking around doing some shopping shouldn't tire me out, should it?

Maybe an inner ear thing? I get dizzy and ill feeling if I have an ear infection, or when I use one of those earwax removal kits and use warm water. There's something in the inner ear that causes a sick feeling when agitated.

That almost sounds like a blood sugar issue. Do you see a physician regularly/ever? Could be the inner ear thing like Ghouck suggested, but the sweating and fatigue make it sound like it may be something else. You say you're heavy. Do you have any family history of diabetes or hypoglycemia?

More questions: Do you live in a hilly area (where going up and down hills a lot could set off a bout of vertigo)? What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow? Who's buried in Grant's tomb? What's the square root of pi? What color underwear was Michael Jackson buried in? Is it still not okay to wear white after Labor Day? At what temperature does mercury turn into a gas?

Answer what you can; I may decide to grade on a curve.

Got to agree with Derf, sounds like you have a medical condition that needs to be checked out. Along with blood sugar issues, it can also be a blood pressure issue. I know when my blood pressure is bad high I get dizzy and sweat a lot. If you haven't seen a doctor in a while you should go see one. Let him/her know about the dizzy spells and ask them to look into it.

Nothing serious, it's only a blood pressure issue, like Derf said. All my family has this problem, often I've passed out when I've gotten up to fast, or I've jogged without any high sucre nourishment. Usually fruit helps.

Well, actually my dad has diabetes, but I'm seeing my doctor regularly about that, my depression meds and blood pressure.  So, dunno, maybe that's it.

BTW, Mercury will turn into a gas?  Huh... didn't know that...

I get that a lot too, but I've linked it to caffeine. AND I have low blood pressure which is normally good, but sometimes I get really dizzy when I stand up and when I'm sick it's worse, and I get faint when I have blood taken and sometimes when I get dizzy and I can't figure out why and I panic and it gets worse and then I get faint again.  Butt! don't forget that being dizzy can be a side-effect of medication too, so you may want to check that.

I'm taking anxiety medication.  Before I started on that, I used to get dizzy and feel like I was going to pass out whenever I went into a large public building.  Maybe your thing is cars?  I used to get freaked out going over bridges.  Anyhow, might want to talk to your doctor about your symptoms and see what he has to say.  Try a different depression med or up your dosage  :teddyr:
