Really?  Another one?  Even if it is made by the original directors... why?  Just why?  Eh, maybe I'm the only one not too hyped about this.

I don't see the point. I know it's easy money and could get green lit in an instant, but the original is one of those stand alone films. The second film they made was just stupid and didn't fit with the first. It was like watching a really bad episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I don't know where they'd go with this if it is true. I remember when "Blair Witch" came out over here, they promoted it as true events, real footage and everyone believed it, which made it so much more scarier. The end of that film made me crap myself.

They promoted it as real here too, so I was psyched about it.  Then I found out it was fake before I saw it and felt betrayed.  There are a lot of other poorly filmed fake scary movies that I'd rather watch.  When I finally did see it, I just thought it was boring and the whole shaky camera thing is annoying.  And I seriously cannot stand all the "haunted" TV shows that have copied the whole the camera-in-the-face things while people lumber around haunted houses.  I'd rather see the house, not someones acne in night vision.

I don't care enough about Blair Witch to have feelings about a new one.  I don't think anyone really cares about it anymore.

That's pretty much how I feel about it.  Sure, it more or less introduced that whole fake home movie style, but what can they really do?  I never saw Blair Witch 2, but from what I heard it pretty much buried any chance of there being a third movie, mainly because it sucked so badly.  Guess what I heard was wrong.

Hey, at least it can't be as bad as the second one.

It's 2009. We'll see about that...  :teddyr:

It's true, , with the advances in technology that have been made since the second BWP, making a movie worse is not only faster and easier, but also cheaper.

And all they need to do now is add Michael Bay or Paul WS Anderson to the foray.

:bouncegiggle:  That's when Andrew does a review of it for this site.

They really should consider using a steadycam for the movie.  I did watch the first one and had a bit of trouble.  I walked out of Cloverfield.

I actually thought the second one was moderately enjoyable.  The twist ending struck me as particularly clever.

I've also just realized that I apparently have worse taste than the majority of people on the Bad Movie board  :bouncegiggle:

Gee, the ending made me want to crap on the movie before I returned it.  :teddyr:

Sorry, BWP was overhyped and terribly disappointing to me. So, yeah, I'm not very interested in any further shenanigans from these folks.
