I am... simply disgusted and angry with this sudden news.  There is no excuse for it and there is no reason why it should happen.  I am just angry that this whole world is slowly breaking down.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Psycho Circus

It is disgusting. Horrific. Unfortunately there's been quite alot of cases over here. In my opinion, they should set the kids that did it on fire, as it was unprovoked and to the extreme.

Nothing new is going on here.  It's quite easy to find similar horrible acts going back to the beginning of recorded history.  People are just quite rotten creatures.  That'll never change.

Joe the Destroyer

I agree with Jim.  This is unquestionably horrible, but it's nothing new to society.  Humans are savage, cruel creatures.  Maybe not all of us, but there are still a good amount of them.

I don't know what kind of horrible thought tells someone it's a good idea to set someone on fire because he reported a stolen bike and got the kid in trouble.

InfoGeek,  I am right there with you....but....believe it-nothing is strange anymore in this world.

"They deliberately sought him out, poured alcohol on him and set him on fire. I can tell you there's no way to explain it, no way to rationalize it."

I have a way to explain it, they are evil, low, uneducated, hateful, lacking morals, lacking courage, and do not deserve to be among other people.  These will be people who victimize others for the rest of their lives.  Waste of space and air.

I hope they get LARGE sentences and the victim and his family get every cent the other families have.

Turds.
Disgusting.

"What about the American Dream?"
"It came true!  You're looking at it!"

A clear-cut case of the kids who did this should be incinerated alive and their parents put away for life so they can't breed any more monsters.

I'm sadly not all that shocked by the situation, but I mourn for a society that feels the need to keep these creatures alive. We are apparently breeding ourselves into chaos.

I believe one of them is being charged with attempted murder but the others are only being charged with aggravated battery. Vicious little monsters.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

Listen to the 911 call

I've heard a lot of 911 calls, but nothing like this.
Scroll about halfway down the page.  The link is on the left.

UPDATE:

I thought I bring back this topic to report on some good news.  The kid who was burned is making a good recovery and the people in charge of this incident are being charged as adults.  He's to the kid recovering completely!

That's great news      I hope the little monsters get the harshest sentence possible.
