Innervisions by Stevie Wonder.

I mentioned "Songs In The Key Of Life", but Innervisions is miles better, so that has to be on there as well.

Rev. Powell

Circus: Revolver was correctly guessed earlier.  +1 for "Innervisions."
xXx_JaseSF_xXx : +1 for "synchronisity", -1 for "Out of Time"

Circus: "Yes Album" and Peter Gabriel "melty-face" are both correct.  +2
AHD: Sorry, "Catch a Fire" is also wrong, so the result was the same.  And now I feel bad for giving you the hint because "Surrealistic Pillow" and "For Your Pleasure" are both wrong, -2. I too would have expected "Surrealistic Pillow" to appear, but he chose no Airplane whatsoever...
Let me clarify that not all of my guesses are recordings I would "expect" to appear (I prefer most AIRPLANE albums over Pillow).

And don't feel bad, it's not like we win anything.  Better to fail spectacularly than not try at all!   :teddyr:

BOB DYLAN Highway 61 Revisited

JOHN LEE HOOKER Plays and Sings The Blues

JOHN LENNON Plastic Ono Band

VLADO PERLEMUTER: RAVEL's Piano Works

HUEY PIANO SMITH and THE CLOWNS "Don't You Just Know It"

TITO PUENTE 50 Years of Swing

NICK DRAKE Five Leaves Left

Has anyone said "Appetite For Destruction" yet?

Damn you Rev, this thread consumes me. I've completely wasted my saturday sat here like a lemon racking my brains! (If lemons had brains that is).

Rev. Powell

Circus: +1 for "Rubber Soul," +1 for "Blonde on Blonde," +1 for "Appetite for Destruction" = +3
Voltron: you missed my hint that there was no more Floyd on the list. -1
Jase: "Diesel" only got an honorable mention, and "Automatic" was not on the list. -2
AHD:  Your strategy hs put you out in front ten, dropped you back quickly.    "Highway" and "Plays and Sings The Blues" are +1 each. "Plastic Ono Band" and "50 Years of Swing" are -1 each. "Don't You Just Know It" is +0.5 (it appears on "This Is," a Huey Smith compilation). "Ravel's Piano Works" is +1.  No bonus point for the performer because he chose Tharaud's "Complete Works for Piano" as the best recording.  Net: +1.5.
