After Megashark vs. Giant Octopus, I've actually lost interest in the Asylum films.  ME!  One of the four people on planet earth who said that "some" of their movies weren't all that terrible!

I might actually end up watching that.  I think it's funny how they've started making faith based movies now.

I really liked their movie Halloween Night. After it I spent the whole day on the internet searching for any info on the "actual event" portrayed in the movie

Cliff DeYoung is in the movie! Does he need money that badly?

He was in the 1988 killer electricity movie PULSE.

Who funds these 'mockbusters'?
As I've heard, this one was funded by Faith films.
Indeed.

There is a non-christian one too, called 2012: Supernova.

So I guess they are pulling an Ed Wood and getting a church to pay for their movie.  How cute! :teddyr:

Has there EVER been a good one of these "Faith-based" Christian movies?

I don't think so. I saw a few of them, and they sucked. Hard.
I think one of them was called "Mark of the beast" or something like that. It was so stupid that my stomach hurt from laughing. :teddyr:

Not from Asylum there hasn't!

I think you guys are missing the point here.  What about poor, poor Ami Dolenz?  At this rate, the girl will NEVER escape her father.  I say we take up a collection for her, get her a REAL job, like at McDonald's or something.

BUREINPARESU

Haven't they ripped off 2012 three times altogether? Wasn't one of them called "Megafault"?

A friend of mine, Regardt van den Bergh made a film called Faith Like Potatoes which is a good faith based film and James Collier directed Joni about the quadraplegic actress / singer / writer / activist / artist Joni Eareckson-Tada.

Other than those two, not much.

How come these people haven't been sued out of existence yet?
