I'm a pretty big Aerosmith fan.  They kind of spanned the decades while (most of the time anyhow) keeping a great rock sound.

Fair enough. I'm not the biggest fan in the world, but they did make a lot of great rock songs. I must admit that I liked the Pump album.

Meh, other than having a slammin' @ss I really have no love loss for Britney.   Its one thing to sing mindless songs and have talent a la Christina Aguleira.  However, its a travesty when one sings mindless songs minus the talent.  She's a dumb redneck with no talent.

I respect Green Day's longevity in mediocre pop punk but they're just "meh" to me. I do like a few songs here and there.

Not a big Fleetwood Mac guy.  I was killing them early but they're ok.  Maiden of course belongs in the Fame category.

The Clash is an interesting choice.  I loved their first 2 or 3 albums, but hated everything they did after that.  If they had broken up after the first two discs, I would have saved them over Balzac.  Their later stuff got so horrendously bad that it tarnished all of it for me.

I'm kind of "meh" on Journey so I voted against them. 

The Clash is a good nomination although I have more respect for them than actual enjoyment of their music.
