Nothing beats a good Revenge flick.

Some of my favorites:

Rolling Thunder
Thriller
Last House On The Left
Virgin Spring
I spit on your grave
Death rides a horse
Cain's Cutthroats
Dragon Princess
Kill Bill

JaseSF

STRAW DOGS

And pretty nearly every Kung Fu film...or it seems that way at least esp. as it comes to 70s and 80s stuff.

Thanks for mentioning ROLLING THUNDER.  That movie doesn't get nearly as much "quality B-movie" notoriety as it deserves.  Wish I could get it on DVD.

just watched it for the first time last night, Enter the Dragon.  I loved it! :tongueout:

the Shawshank Redemption

Really?  I guess it sort of is.  Though that depends on what your view of Andy is, that is to say, if he did it or not.

JaseSF

COFFY
FOXY BROWN

loads of other blaxploitation too.

Hmmm... wouldn't Sidehackers be considered this?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Psycho Circus

Shotgun (1989)  :drink:

Shotgun Jones is a police officer whose sister (a hooker) is killed by a rich S&M loving lawyer. He breaks the rules and mouths off in the process of trying to catch him, gets thrown off the force and becomes a bounty hunter.

There's a spanish disc out, but I believe it has bootleg quality. I cant confirm since I havent seen it. I'm still waiting for some cult label to release the thing.

STRAW DOGS

I really hated SD. Peckinpah is one of my favorites, but this movie had a chance to be a pretty decent revenge movie...but it just didnt deliver.

Wow.  I'm a big Peckinpah fan too and I love STRAW DOGS.  The climax is among the best I've ever seen.

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

The Majorettes (1986) - Sort of a slasher flick that turns into a revenge flick halfway through.  One of my old fave's.

How about Slaughter High or House On Sorority Row. Not a true revenge movie, but still has elements of a revenge flick.
