Remakes/Reboots Hollywood vs. B Movies

One movie I'd like to see remade someday is Pete Walker's "Frightmare".  But whoever has to fill in Sheila Keith's shoes (the cannibalistic old lady) has a daunting task ahead of them.

I picture CYNDI LAUPER (56 years old) playing the cannibalistic old lady... and she will not be too out of place with a younger daughter.

Actually, maybe they could give the job to Debbie Harry.  She was a cannibalistic woman trying to get a little kid cooked in her oven in Tales From The Darkside: The Movie.

Its odd but I picture Cyndi Lauper playing the role and doing a good job because it's not as expected from her. Debbie Harry would be another Karen Black in a Rob Zombie movie, she might work but it wouldnt be a surprise.
