The Burgomaster

I have ALIEN DEAD (a Fred Olen Ray movie) and BLOOD OF GHASTLY HORROR (an Al Adamson movie) on DVD.  I'm pretty sure I also have MAD DOG in a Mill Creek 50 movie pack.  Good luck!

Blood Orgy of the Leather Girls (1988) on imdb is given a 6.6 rating... review seems good

Paquita

I have Screamtime on VHS!  It's not so bad.

Chainsawmidget

I used to own Screamtime and the Jar.  Note the past tense there.  I don't know what happened to my copies.

I love the cover for The Dark Power and The Comic.  They just don't make movie covers like that anymore.  Pity really.

Leah

yeah no.

RC,
If you haven't see it there's also a "The Worst Video Artwork" thread (or with a similar title).  Plenty of good stuff to see there, too!
Man, that Dark Power cover is UNBELIEVABLY stupid and offensive!  :teddyr:

I have seen the thred! I havent commrnted on it-because lotsa it leaves me speechless. Lotsa fun.I lurk on the board more than I post. I lurk in Andrews reviews even more. Andrew's BAD MOVIES is my favorite site. The man is better than Micheal Weldon-and a future Calvin T. Beck. And if yer an old school fan boy-you know who Beck is.

I haven't watched ALIEN DEAD in a few years, but here are some comments I posted in this forum in 2004:

"Well, I finally splurged and bought the DVD of this Fred Olen Ray travesty.  And what a fine piece of crap it is!  Everything about this movie is bad, including "star" Buster Crabbe, who must have shot all of his scenes in one day.  He appears on screen in about 5 scenes for a total of maybe 10 minutes.  Even though he receives top billing in the credits, and plays the sheriff, he never seems to be involved when anything important is happening, and he certainly is NOT the hero.  The special effects and make-up are terrible.  Every time someone gets killed, blood comes out of their mouth (see the full review on this website for further comments about this).  One guy gets cut in half, but it is very obvious that the bottom half of his body is in a pit or something, covered with leaves so that you can't see it.  A couple of times, the film editor kept one or two seconds of film in the final print that was probably shot after the director had said "cut."  So, you can see where the actors just stop performing and start to walk away.    In fact, I am pretty sure that you can faintly hear the director say "cut" at the end of one shot.  I will need to replay the scene and turn up the volume to verify this.  A few other times you can see some of the actors playing ghouls smiling or laughing just before the end of a shot.  This is really awful movie-making, but it will keep you laughing right up until the stupid ending."

I rented Screamtime many years ago on VHS. I recalled liking it, so I recently burned it to DVD-R. Pretty cool little flick. My fave part of the movie is when the woman keeps seeing random visions of murder.
