Been in the hospital since Tuesday. Just got home. I had a cardiac catheterization (loads of fun). So, within the past month I found out I have diabetes and high cholesterol and have taken a small heart attack. Next, I'll probably be struck by lightning.

Glad that you're back home and I hope you're doing okay. My dad told me the other week that he'd suffered one (his dad had died about 2 months ago too). I'd noticed that he was being super nice and is now wanting to spend more time with me. He's really trying to cut his cholesterol and make the most of life.

Yikes. That's terrible. How are you coping? The physical pain is certainly serious, but people often forget what an emotional kick in the head a heart attack can be. Hope you're getting lots of moral support at home.

So sorry to hear that.

While I've yet to experience it, I'm sure I'm looking at one in the near future. My dad, his dad, I believe my other grandfather all had one, plus all suffered diabetes and drinking problems, all of which apparently are genetic. I've had some chest pains over the past two years and have anger issues.

I'm hoping to avoid a heart attack.
