Strange movie

Hi!

I can't remember a movie my cousin and I were watching after his birthday party  ( ) some time in the beginning of the 90's.

It had something to do with people getting infected by touch (perhaps by some cat or something) so they were wrapping them selves in PVC foil.... I know the details are sketchy, but it was early in the morning (or extremely late in the night) and my memories  might  be a BIT hazed because of  .

Any way my cousin (and me) still can't get this movie out of his head and with birthday approaching again  I tough I'll make him a present.

Any suggestions?

Turns out I was wrong searching the Internet for a movie full of disease spreading cats (talk about LOLCats...) the cats were used to identify infected persons. Ah the tricks an old mind plays on some of us.

Cousin is getting his gift after all.
