Sias Odendaal's South African answer to ET, Nukie is being released on DVD in April 2010. I just got the word from the film's rights holders and I'll be writing the liner notes for that DVD.

Ah, who am I kidding? I'd buy it just to say I know the guy who wrote the liner notes. Is it going to be released in Region 1 right away?

Cool when the releasing company uses what I provide: not so cool when they don't. 

All the releases are on the O region so I don't know if they will play in the US and Canada ~ they should, I think.

I've done about fifty liner notes in the last year and more to come: remember, I don't get paid for doing it and I can't be ~ I just do it for the love of it.  

I think you have a deal there, Ed: I've read that review and it's great.
