Fictional Characters You Relate To

Are there characters in comics, literature, movies, etc that you look at and say "thats so me".  Heres a few I came up with about myself;

Dr. Manhattan (Watchmen)

Not the whole "indestructible man" thing but rather his detachment from humanity.  I find many human affairs to be boring and I often feel a bit more detached from humanity every year.  However, like him, I'm often reminded by those closest to me what it truly is to be human.

Oscar The Grouch/Bert (Sesame Street)

I'd say I'm a hybrid of these two characters.  A la Oscar...I'm moody, socially challenged (depending on the environment) and hate a lot of things.  A la Bert, also moody yet loveably nerdy.  (Ernie is in the pic because I'm too lazy to find one of just Bert...I actuallly loathe Ernie...he's a prick).

Monk~~ from the USA tv show.. only a female version. Just today I pulled out the stove and the refrigerator to clean behind them, made a master grocery shopping list in wordpad and printed out multiple copies for future use, took my hand held steam cleaner to the grout lines in the kitchen floor, and organized my spices alphabetically(my husband messes them all up)
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

Sleepyskull

Bryon from the book That Was Then, This Is Now by S.E. Hinton

He feels (as I do) much more confused as he grows older and far less sure of himself. He also longs to be a kid again so he can feel more confident.

I totally understand the feeling.  :bluesad:

Probably Yossarian, from catch 22. I have a relatively similar outlook and cynical view of human affairs.

Hush for being so secretive
Hmmm.  Secretive.  You may want to rethink that one.  Just a thought.

:bouncegiggle:  I can totally see the Oscar/Bert in you!  But I like it!

Deadpool

I often just don't shut the hell up and purposely drive people insane around me.  I'm also a fan of lame jokes.

I can think of a couple.

Fozzie Bear- kinda good natured, quick with a joke (despite it mostly being not very good/ill timed), and eager to please.

Hermie The Elf- Just a misfit who's trying to do his own thing despite the negative attitudes of the people in the world around me.

Also:
Holden Caulfield from The Catcher in The Rye.

Oh there's a few characters who over the years I've felt a certain kinship too.

As a kid, it was definitely Bert from Sesame Street for me too. I even had a bottlecap collection. I was a huge fan of Oscar too.

Mr. Spock

Cold and logical, even seemingly a little aloof at times, yet surpisingly compassionate when it comes to those closest to him although he doesn't like to show his emotions. I've never liked showing my emotional side in public either.

The Martian Manhunter

More so a kinship to him for feeling more than a little alien when compared to those who surround him and his having to put up with buffoonery of his friends, especially during Keith Giffen's Justice League run.

Gwyllm Griffiths

A man who desires more than what his limited surroundings can afford. I can so relate to that. Also after being transformed, he has very little use for ignorance.

Rorshach and The Question:

The paranoid side of me that feels a lot of truths, some dealing with the paranormal and some not, are and have been in fact covered up by governments and other public agencies can relate very much to these two characters. Some cover-ups years later have been revealed while others probably never will be....
