When I glanced at :buggedout: :buggedout: your posters, I thought the one said ELVIS of the night! I better get my eyes checked!

:bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: I just love it!

No, it really IS Elvis Of The Night.. see, the hands grabbing her are saying "Thank ya.. thank ya verra much."
Hold onto your dreams ....

Allhallowsday

When this was new, a friend and I could not stop emphasizing one word: B E L I E V E !!!

If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

I know it seems awful but Patrick Swayze as a ghost isn't too farfetched.
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

This tag is on my vhs copy of Army of Darkness;

Trapped in time

Surronded by evil

Low on gas

The tag on my vhs of The Mechanic (with charles bronson)

He has more than a dozen ways to kill and they all work!

Mofo Rising

I always liked this one from The Willies (1990):

"You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll puke, you'll die!"

That's a lot for just one movie to take you through, you know?
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Dawn Of The Dead:
When there's no more room in HELL.. the DEAD will walk the Earth
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

The Prey: "It's not human, and it's got an axe!"

That has to be my favourite tagline. Not very creative, but it gets right to business. :teddyr:
---------------------
"Join me in the abyss of savings."

From what I remember, I don't think he used the axe much at all after the opening.  A terrible low-budget movie with lots of nature footage (!) and a truly goofy performance by the park ranger.  A lot of people were suckered in by that admittedly cool tagline.

Really dumb tagline..

Killer to the left!  Killer to the right!  Stand up!  Sit down!  Fright!  Fright!  Fright!
--Return To Horror High
"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."

And if I recall correctly, the killer WAS human, just badly burned, so that tagline is completely false. Still admire its simplicity though.

BUREINPARESU

Dominator - "Anyone who says Rock is dead, WILL be!"

I kinda like this one, but it makes me think the film is going to be a dystopian future in which Rock music no longer exists.

It's not.

Dan

"Take the stairs, take the stairs. For God's sake, take the stairs!"
- The Lift (1983)

Doggett

If God exists, why did he make me an atheist? Thats His first mistake.

Laff, RC, Laff!

On that note: my favorite is from that lousy BIGFOOT movie with a Joi Landsing, Chris Mitchum, Doodles Weaver, and a very old John Carradine.

BIGFOOT
Breeds With Anything...

He doesn't breed with John Carradine, which might have been something to see.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.
