Thanks Jase.  It pretty much takes a direct hit for me to go down   

Our state premier Anna Bligh (the state's leader) isn't very popular at all and lots of people actively hate her, but she's done a sterling job during this crisis.  This just may be the thing she needs to get re-elected the next time around.

I must say, I"m actually quite proud of the way she's handled herself.

Yeah there's some crazy footage from Brisbane and I have some relatives up there.  I'm in Melbourne to the south myself and it only just stopped raining [started in full force on monday] so we've had some minor flooding in parts but nowhere near me and not anywhere near the same degree.

My aunt from Queensland saw something crazy though out her window with the severe flooding around them, they saw a house float by with people still in it in the second story!  That's just nuts.  I'm hoping all aboard were ok, but what a surreal sight to see to say the least.   

Take care KB, my cousin is in Brisbane too, but on top of a hill so he's ok so far, though his roof collapsed due to too much rain.  Absolute insanity.
