A. Lucking into the realization that you can trick Windows Movie Maker into making a (useful for my purposes) .avi file instead of a (useless for my purposes) .wmv file by telling it to publish the movie in PAL format.

B. Wondering why Microsoft doesn't simply allow you to choose which format to save your movie as.
