Short version: I had a mental and emotional breakdown during which I maxed out my FMLA because I couldn't get off the couch, so forget going to work (I have severe anxiety issues). The two times I drugged myself on what I call zombie meds (prescribed for the anxiety) and made it into work, I fell asleep because of the medication. That was strike one.

When I went over on my FMLA, I was charged with AWOL. That was strike two.

Then I accidentally fell asleep while getting ready for work, and earned another AWOL. That got me suspended.

I'll be glad to see this year behind me.

Gearing up to venture out into the remains of this winter's first significant snowfall.  Good news is it is mild out there;  not-so-good news is that makes it all very wet and chilly.  Ugh.
