My father, when he was a boy, had a pet rabbit that they sometimes let in the house. One day, when the rabbit was housebound, he bit into an electrical wire in the living room, which knocked him clean across the room. My father thought they were going to eat fried rabbit that night, but that rabbit must have had more than one life, for he picked himself up, shook himself off, and continued hopping about the living room.
