Another ill compiled list I find with a few chioces I agree with here and there.  They're implying Gremlins are reprsentative of black youths...oh f*ck off will ya!  Sorry but thats just stupid.     If anything, I thought they'd claim it was offensive to Asians.

Yeah, it is a very stupid list indeed.  Personally, I brought this list up to get everyone's thoughts on it and see what they have to say about it.

How stupid is including GREMLINS?  Uhm, did it ever occur to the compiler of this poser's list that the Gremlins of the title (GREMLINS) were supposed to be children - any and all children - particularly if parented poorly??  As the Asian sage (you know, the obvious stereotype in the film played by KEYE LUKE) states: "You teach them to watch Television!"

I'd say there is a difference between racism and playing up a stereotype.  For me, racism is all about hatred.  I personally don't think any of those films were done out of hatred towards another race.  The world simply gets too serious at times if someone pokes fun at ethnic stereotypes.  Personally, I'm half Polish and can rattle off jokes at my expense for hours.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, political correctness will kill humor in our society.

Lucas definitely used accents of earthly origins...why...well I have no friggin clue as with most Lucas does hands on but racist...nah.  Annoying yes...thats about it.

Agree with Darksider, a few of those movies that have some parts that are pretty racist.
However, a lot of those movies are having too much read into them...

With a list this wacko, I now remember why I normally avoid looking at most of these kind of lists....

I love how they complain about Aladdin In typical Disney fashion, whitewashed Aladdin is about as Arabian as the cast of 90210

Aladdin in the origianl stories is from China.  A fictionalized China, yes, but he is Chinese.
