I'm just curious:  Anybody that uses Netflix or a similar service, what are the first 10 movies in your queue? Also, what movie(s) are at home and/or being delivered?

At home: Goliath (2008)

First 10 in queue:

1. The Vanishing (1988)
2. Kwaidan (1964)
3. The Hitcher (1984)
4. The Howling (1981)
5. Bride of the Monster (1955)
6. Deranged/Motel Hell (1974) and (1980)
7. The Devil's Nightmare (1971)
8. Black Sunday (1960)
9. Equinox (1970)
10. The Night Stalker/The Night Strangler (1973)

My first few movies change often depending on what I want next.

Humanity takes itself too seriously. It is the world`s original sin. - Oscar Wilde

At Home: MEATBALL MACHINE

XTRO
b***h Slap
Gentlemen Broncos
The Time Traveler's Wife
Mysterious Skin
Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
Four Flies on Grey Velvet
Cat in the Brain
Tokyo Zombie
Last Year at Marienbad

That's a bit misleading, since I only keep the first 2 updated.  I will usually decide what movie I need/want to see next after returning the last movie and move it to position 1 in the queue.  I always make sure #2 is a high priority view in case I forget to update #1.

At home:
Don't Look Now
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 2
Born on the Fourth of July
The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi (2003)
The Wire: Season 4

Next 10:
1. The Box
2. Fantastic Mr. Fox
3. Crisis (1946, Bergman)
4. The X-Files: Season 4
5. Andy Richter Controls the Universe: Complete Series
6. Whiteout
7. Serpico
8. Important Things with Demetri Martin: Season 1
9. The Color of Money
10. The Graduate

My queue is in constant flux, too. TV shows I only put the new disc in when I finish the one I'm currently watching (otherwise they take up too much space). I'm also currently tracking several directors by watching their films in chronological order, so I do the same with those discs.

Kwaidan is a great movie!
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Oh, wow, you got the eight a month deal?

Well, here's mine..

Once Upon a Time in the West (shipping "today")
House, M.D.: Season 5: Disc 3  (should arrive tomorrow)
Scarlet Diva (diito)

Inglourious Basterds
Lucky
Learning Curve
The Hurt Locker
A Lizard in a Woman's Skin
The Dead Girl
Brother (2000)
Pinky Violence: Girl Boss Guerilla
Deathdream
Paprika

Get the feeling I'm going to be waiting awhile on Basterds, and there's short wait on the next too.

Sometimes I move around my top ten queue picks, try to alternate between b-movies I've never heard of, new releases, TV shows, and whatnot.

I'm actually at 5/mo, I only have one disc from each of those TV shows. I'd probably bring it down, but the Watch Instantly feature doesn't have a lot of the obscure stuff.

Four Flies on Grey Velvet

I'm a big Argento fan and I bought this one several months ago.  Sadly, I was disappointed and I'd only rate it somewhere in the bottom 50% of Argento's movies.  I had such high hopes for it, too.   :bluesad:  I hope you post some comments after you watch it.  I'm interested in your opinion.

I have 3-at-a-time..  Think I should switch to 1 at a time though, with the amount I've been watching lately.

At Home:

The Great Silence
Stander
Treasure of the Sierra Madre

2. The Devil's Tomb
3. Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing
4. Us Sinners
5. Don't Go In The House
6. Alice, Sweet Alice
7. Beyond the Door
8. The Changeling

Burgo, unfortunately (or fortunately)  FOUR FLIES has pretty much fallen off my list, and your lukewarm opinion on it doesn't make me want to move it up in the queue.  I now have almost 100 reader suggestions on my site to try to plow through, and I'm trying to sprinkle in as many recent releases as I can, as well, so I may never get to that one.

You know, personally, I don't use the Watch Instantly feature too much... I mean, I just don't care to sit passively and watch stuff on my computer for a long time.  If I'm going to watch a movie, I want to be in my comfy chair in front of the large TV.

I know, I know, with some cables you could probably hook up the computer to the TV and watch it that way, but I'm lazy...

I don't want to be a Netflix and Xbox shill, but that's pretty much what I do. I watch Netflix through my Xbox, which is attached to my TV, which I have my comfy couch in front of...

I don't like watching movies on my computer either, but my Xbox is hooked up to the nice TV in the living room.

My blu-ray player streams Netflix.  I'm seriously considering getting rid of cable entirely.  If Netflix just had a slightly better selection of TV shows, I would make the jump.

Hehe, I like that, at least your honest. Do you have any kind of policy what you do and don't download?
