A really bad movie about a killer that murders some college kids. It's pretty predictable. However, unlike most movies of this kind, the killer is never revealed, nor his motive. The action is painfully slow, but it's a good study of late 70's/early 80's way of dressing. I don't like the typical of many thrillers homoerotic scenes, here represented by (spoiler) a frat guy in his briefs, tied to a tree, covered in cream. :hatred:

Yeah, it was way too dull for me.  The killer seemed like some guy that walked on the set.  No explanation, no background story on him, he wasn't any of the regular cast of characters; he just WAS a killer.  Ho-kay!

I saw this years ago and enjoyed it, but I rewatched it recently and it didn't really do too much for me. It's your typical run of the mill slasher. However there is one creepy scene it the gym that stuck with me.

I'm always on the fence with this one. At times I think its dull and boring, then there are days I find it to be entertaining in a cheesy sort of way.

I think the movie was dull. However, some of the actors and actresses had 'it' - some of them did good and many of them were attractive. I think some of them deserved achieving fame and stardom more than some of today's pathetic stars e.g. Miley Cyrus. But having an over-ambitious father who had a single years ago helps I guess. Just my two cents. There are far better movies with worse actors. Final Exam's plot sucks. It's like they went "Hey, let's make a movie about... some college kids... and a killer. If nothing else, we'll portray the way we dress now (early 80's) for a reference for future generations." hahaha
