Information Geek covered Nightmare Fuel/High Octane Nightmare Fuel on another thread, so I figured I'd add this one. Fridge logic generally refers to an instance in which a factor in the plot of a movie/tv show/whatever isnt mentioned, but comes to you later on after some forethought (if this happened, then the only way that could be is if...). Usually, this is a case of a plot hole or a mistake on the writer's part, but it can also foreshadow a later surprise or simply be something the writer didnt want to deal with the full implications of. It can change the viewer's perception of the plot.

Fridge horror is when this sudden realization actually makes the plot scarier in hindsight.

Ever experience this?
"When I die, I hope you will use my body creatively." - Shin Chan

"Tonight, we will honor the greatest writers in America with a modest 9 by 12 certificate and a check for three thousand dollars...three thousand dollars? Stephen King makes more than that for writing boo on a cocktail napkin." - Jimmy Breslin
