Sadly we've apparently seen a dying breed in managers.  Unless you look on the indy scene.  In bigger companies I see a huge upswing in the rise of hot 'Valets' like Maryse for wrestlers.  Not knocking them, but some good managers like Mitchell can add a lot to a wrestler's character.

I'm throwing one save Skaaland's way just for having managed both WWWF World Champions Bruno Sammartino and Bob Backlund although he never actually really seemed to do much outside the ring until he threw in the towel on Backlund and cost him his WWF World title in a match against the Iron Sheik...
