Great person, great guy who's been through a rough patch lately ~ he's part of the lifeblood of this family on here and I think we all should give him a group hug.

He's a lovable rascal all right    It's always interesting to hear what he's up to, or gotten himself into.

RC is great guy with a lot of problems.  I worry about the man, especially when he's without a computer.

He is also a great artist.  He is greatly influenced by Robert Crumb.  He graced me with an original drawing of Spock  done in this style and though he hasn't mentioned it here, he has done drawings for his local paper, he sent me one of those too. 


I hope he gets a computer soon.

RC is a fount - a FOUNT I tell you! - of information about the older films, stars, comics - you name it.  He's our very own Forry Ackerman!  I hope he can come back soon.  He adds dimension to the community here.

RC is amazingly well versed in the classics whether they be the best of the good, or the best of the bad, although he does seem to have a pronouced fondness for the so-called bad. He definitely knows his stuff and is one the most knowledgable fans I've come across on the web and I've stumbled across some great fans (themselves fountains of fandom experience, actually having grown up in the 50s & 60s and/or 60s & 70s) between here, Scifilm, the IMDB, Sinister Cinema and the Wormboard. I greatly miss RC's input here.

I'm reviving this old thread that TREVOR started nearly a year ago.  I don't think Ron Merchant ever saw it.  

BELA is a great guy who's got my back, especially when I am stumbling drunk.
