Afrikaans is my other first language and it is a wonderful one to speak with many funny sounding words. One of the funniest words is 'Kaalgat' (pronounced Kahl ga it) which means 'bare bum naked'. :buggedout: :buggedout:

What the Afrikaans word for "underpants?"
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

It's 'onderbroek' - onder means under and broek means pants.  :teddyr:

Dear God in heaven!

All friends here, please take note that this person has repeatedly used the word fokken which means f**k, he has called me a moffie, which means a homosexual - I have many gay and lesbian friends and their sexual orientation is their business, not mine - he has called me a "malletjie" which means mad. He has also forgotten that this is the Off Topic board where anything can be discussed.

Despite this unwarranted attack, I will not say a word against him except to say that his screen name means Blue Balls - meaning that he has not had any sexual relief for some time now.

Andrew, could I ask you to  deal with this person, please?

From Google translate. He seems more upset about the underpants from what I could gather.

wow, thanks for translating because it just looked like gibberish to me. You are a bigger person than I am because I would say something  :teddyr:  He's an ass.
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far~ ruminations

I'm still stunned by that attack on me but what makes me  :teddyr: is that this guy said "Ek wil nie onbeskof wees nie" [I have no wish to be rude or insulting] but he was, calling me gay and dropping the Afrikaans version of the f bomb over and over again.

As I am a bisexual person (NB: celibate for the last six years and proud of it) the "moffie" part of that doesn't bother me but the virulence of his attack does.

I think he had issues with all these underpants threads which I believe can appear a bit strange to people not familiar with this site. Resorting to name calling is not cool though.

Wow, I was gone all weekend. Must have missed some drama. I feel like my playful asking of an "underpants" translation inadvertently sparked something.

That's what I thought was weird. This guy jumps on Trevor for talking about underpants when he didn't even raise the subject. Bizarre.

Anyway, there has been a tremendous outpouring of support for Trevor from the entertainment industry:

Going back to the original topic, I'd like to thank the Germans for the word/phrase: backpfeifengesicht, translating to "A face that badly needs to be punched/slapped."
