Too Smart for Strangers

I have saw the show as a kid, being born to late to witness it.  However, with my recent discovery of it and just seeing a clip of it, it really leaves an impression on me.  For those of you who have seen this show before, what are your thoughts on it?  It's something else in my book.  Oh Pooh.  Why oh why must you appear in something so creepy?

It's always creepy when they have childhood characters talk about this sort of thing.  It's made worse by the fact that they're in kind of shoddy costumes rather than animated.  I do give the people who wrote that credit for both emphasizing that it doesn't matter who is doing it, AND acknowledging it could be someone you know (in actuality, a large majority of child molesters know the children they molest).

If I saw that kind of stuff when I was sober I think I would take up drugs just to cope.
