The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008)

Adventure movies though have a long history..from Tarzan to Sinbad to Allan Quatermain to Conan. Skull's mention of King Kong (1933) to me is also interesting as exploration of far off mysterious lands and places was a constant stable of many a 1930-40s film not to mention numerous movie serials...wouldn't be surprised if there's not an 1940s serial reminscent of Indiana Jones...

Wasn't Indiana Jones supposed to be reminiscent of the serials of the 1940's?  I thought Lucas actually said right at the outset that was the whole point of the exercise: to bring back the style of adventures he enjoyed as a kid.

Swamp Thing

One of the main inspirations for Indiana Jones was Secret of the Incas (1954)

Swamp Thing: No, I'm a bachelor.

And when he shall die
Take him and cut him into little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night,
And pay no worship to the garish sun.

Swamp Thing

Treasure of the Moon Goddess (1987) can also be added to the list. And I think we have them all now! Well all that I know of anyway!

I'm going on a spree to try and find all of the ones I haven't seen!

I think they both take their inspiration from that scene in "Temple of Doom" where Harrison Ford gropes a naked statue.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Not a movie, but a History Channel TV series: Digging for the Truth.  And not so much the program itself, but the original host Josh Bernstein.  Such a blatant Indiana Jones imitation - and a poor one at that!  Yish.

There is also the sequel to Romancing The Stone, "The Jewel Of The Nile".

No, there isn't.

We do not mention that here.  Or anywhere.  It doesn't exist.

It has been over twenty years since I've seen this film, and the memory still hurts. Apparently it was originally in 3-D in the theater, that must have been doubly painful.

I confirm, it was a 3D movie.

There was a 1989 South African Indiana Jones knock-off called The Jewel Of The Gods with Marius Weyers and Sandra Prinsloo.
