When Movies are Tiger Lily-ed. It can be good...

Or, bad. Reason i bring it up....the 24hr Sci-fi Marathon here in Columbus, Ohio, is going to show , among others....GAMERA 3: REVENGE OF IRIS (thats how its printed in the paper)...and DON'T ASK, DON'T TELL. This is Killers From Space redubbed, al-la Whats Up Tiger Lily (My Fave W. Allen film). Anyone here about this one? Is it funny, or lame?  I quote Frank Gabrenya, our movie critic, "And what would a sci-fi maratnon be without at least one Japanese monster-stomper? Gamera 3: Revenge of Iris represents the third in a new series of adventures with the giant turtle agine crushing tokyo. in the big show down, Gamera tackles the vengfull creature Iris.(No, Not Dame Judi Dench,-But by a man in a rubber Dame Judi suit)."  Dir. Cut LIFEFORCE, HAPPY ACCIDENTS, THX-1138, and others will fill the bill. So, Don't ask,don't tell, and Gamera....two more reason i'm sorry i can't make it there.....pity me.

Woody Allen gives me a pain in my rump, but Tiger Lily was damned funny.  I haven't seen any of his other flicks, though, but I'm scared to since Woody Allen is almost annoying to the level of Pauly Shore or Bobcat Goldthwait.
