Did any of you go to see this?  I didn't hear about it until the day it happened and I already had plans so I couldn't go.  I'm wondering if it was worth it?

"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

There was some controversy surrounding the September showing. Some sources claimed it was a digital projection coming from a DVD. No idea if that is true though.
Other than that this was mainly a Warners promotion stunt to push sales for the upcoming Extended Director's Cut Blu-ray, which is available at stores this week and will include most features from the September event.

No, but I saw a similar sort of Fathom event for THE WIZARD OF OZ.  Basically it was like watching a DVD featurette before watching the movie.  A good experience.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

My question is; with such a well known movie and Halloween coming up why wasn't there any advertisements?

This is the first I have heard of this.  I would have love to have seen this movie with the extra footage.

Oh well.

This movie still scares me.
