Some may remember me from years ago, though I was more a lurker than a regular poster. I'm thrilled to see comments I made back in 1999 are still on some of the reviews 

Anyhoo, a film I wrote, co-produced & directed is hitting DVD & Blu-ray in the US next week. It's called "Damned by Dawn" - and it was supposed to be my homage to the Hammer horror films, but for a variety of reasons (lack of money) it turned into a different beast altogether!

I like the trailer.  This is a film that I would like to watch.   

Is this something that would be available at a Wal-Mart?  Or do we go thru a website?

Hey Mitch!  Awesome effort, congrats!  I hope it does well and the Trailer looks great.  Did I see that it was filmed in Ballarat? If you ever need crew you should give me a buzz since I live in Hawthorn.  I work for chump rates [red bull].    [and since I'm a film student I could always do with being on more shoots]

Yep John it will be available in Wal-mart & most other stores from November 9th. (its already up at Amazon to pre-order).

And you're correct Dean, we did shoot in Ballarat. And also Dandenong & Wantirna. We did the grading & mastering in your neck of the woods (at WTFN on Riversdale Rd). Most definitely I'll give you a buzz for the next shoot - and not just because you work for chump rates!

Heh, that's hilarious, I live just off Auburn Rd, right around from WTFN.  Always wondered what they specialised in there...

Anyways, good luck goes out to you and your cast and crew!  Hope it goes gangbusters.

I didn't have a proper look but is it getting any kind of release here? [other than that screening at ACMI which I missed]
