I don't think the new Trek movie is horrible, but I guess I'm a snob for the original cast. I'd rather see Shatner at his worst, than someone else in the role. That said, it was not a slam at JJ Abrams, I really liked "Alias." I also liked what Rob Zombie tried to do with "Halloween" but I see the problem some have with it. The original is so iconic and was so cutting edge at that point in time, it  hard to live up to.

I haven't seen the last two Aliens films, but after hearing and reading enough about the storylines, I have NO interest (killing off Newt? REALLY? So, that pretty makes the last film completely pointless!).
Jaws: The Revenge is at least so-bad-its-funny. Jaws 3, for the most part, is in the so-bad-its-boring category (though there are some lovely narm moments). Jaws 2 isn't bad or good. It's just...There.
