I always remember Rotwang because it invokes thoughts of venereal disease.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Snake Plissken yet.

Not totally original for the screen, as they were originally created by Ian Fleming for his James Bond novels, but I always thought some of the most memorable character names were in the James Bond films.

"Live and Let Die"
Mr. Big
Tee Hee Johnson

"Goldfinger"
Auric Goldfinger
Oddjob
and the great p***y Galore.

Call me "Snake" Plisken, Indiana Jones, BOND, JAMES BOND, "Nuke" Laloosh, Hubert "Bad-Hair" Wimberly, Roy "Tin-Cup" McCavoy, Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy, Raoul Duke, SFPD Det. Harry Callahan, "Chappy" Sinclair, Egon Spengler, Dr. Richard Kimball, Michael you can call me "Mike" Bolton....etc., etc....

I could go on forever.

However, I'll bet nobody's heard of Hubert "Bad-Hair" Wimberly before but DAMN if that ain't a $20.00 handle huh?? :teddyr:

Shatner's character from Kingdom of the Spiders, Robert "Rack" Hansen.

Several Characters from It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Most memorable for me were "Smiler" Grogan, Captain Culpepper, Benjy Benjamin and Dingy Bell.

Same for Dr. Strangelove - Generals Jack D. Ripper and Buck Turgidson, President Merkin Muffly, Group Captain Lionel Mandrake, Premier Dmitri Kissoff, Major "King" Kong, Bat Guano, and the titular Dr. Strangelove.

You deserve some sort of award for this one.
