I'm not gonna lie - I go to the 80's sing alongs at Alamo Drafthouse regularly, so I've not only sung along to some Lauper, but I've sung along to some Lauper in PUBLIC!!!
Check out my movie reviews and articles at: www.cinedump.com

Or, don\\\'t check them out - see if I care. You\\\'re not my real mom anyway. Unless, you are. In which case, whatever, I\\\'ll do what I want. It\\\'s my hot body. Y\\\'all don\\\'t know me.

Sorry, forgot to add one: Karma to the first person who has been to a midnight screening of The Room...

I forgot to add one myself. Karma to the first person who can give me a recommendation for a good western that is both foreign and isn't Italian in anyway.
Ah, the good old days.

indianasmith already beat me to the recommendation punch, but I'm still going to recommend The Good, the Bad, and the Weird, which was a phenomenal movie.

Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Thanks for the recommendation Mofo. I was recently watching some westerns and then I ended up watching one that caught me by surprise. A Man from the Boulevard des Capuchines (which can be seen below. I would recommend a place to buy but have yet to find a copy for sale with English subtitles.) It is comedic and rather slapstick but it turns the western on its head as it was made in the Soviet Union and affirms communist ideals. I kind of enjoyed the conventions as seen through the eyes of a different culture rather then American or Italian.

Sorry to go off topic there thought I would give a bit of perspective on why I asked.

You might look up El Topo, too.

Karma to the first person who enjoys drinking coca cola with a hint of lime.
Ah, the good old days.

Does rum and coke with lime in it count if so I do.
Can you dig it?

Cuba libres are awesome and forgotten in the modern age. However, if you get a chance try without the rum it accentuates the spice notes and removes the sweetness.
Ah, the good old days.

No woman on the board wants karma for getting pregnant? OK, I'll also offer karma to any guy who's ever suffered from "sympathetic pregnancy."
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Perhaps because getting pregnant bears its own karma.

I was leaving it for Paquita (or someone else) to speak up for.

Have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing who claims sympathetic pregnancy!

I've never suffered from sympathetic pregnancy. Just sympathy.
I don't always talk about bad movies, but when I do, I prefer badmovies.org

Karma to the first person (besides myself) who's ever been diagnosed with clinical depression.
