As a segue on the best movies of the 2000 decade, what do you thik were some of the best TV shows of the same period.

For me, battlestar galactica's reboot and caprica were the best I remember.

The Walking Dead and Battlestar Galactica for me.

I loved The Shield, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Rome. I'm also a huge NCIS fan.
Jumping Kings and Making Haste Ain't my Cup of Meat

HBO's ROME,  Showtime's THE TUDORS, and on network TV, NCIS.  All great viewing.

For me, my favorite is without a doubt "The League of Gentlemen".  Granted, technically the first season started in 1999, but the majority of it was in the early 2000's.

Other favorites:
The Office (both versions)
Look Around You (Thanks ants.  Thants.)
Breaking Bad (still going strong)
The Walking Dead (go AMC!)
South Park (probably as good as it ever has been)
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Six Feet Under
Carnivale
Psychoville
Green Wing
Peep Show

and something that I can't get enough of:  all of the BAD auditioners from most of the reality competition shows (American Idol, America's Got Talent, Last Comic Standing, Dance-type shows, etc...).  I only watch the early audition rounds for the bad ones, and once the good performers take over, I switch off!

Monster Jam on SPEED- one of the two good shows on SPEED
Pass Time- the other good show on SPEED, it's also interesting to see the cars on there
Mythbusters- no explanation needed
Dirty Jobs- same as Mythbusters

yeah no.

Probably the best show for me to come out of that decade was Psych, a funny comedy and crime show on USA.  Strange, why are all the creative and better writers working for that channel?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.
