Let's say someone was making a movie about your life. What songs would/should be on the soundtrack? The list (about 10-15 songs, give or take) should define not only you as a person, but the period in your life that the film might cover (not necessarily the time in which the songs came out, but when you listened to them most often).

My Tracks:

1. This Mortal Coil - Drugs
2. Wire - I Am The Fly
3. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Mercy Seat
4. My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult - Devil Bunnies
5. Inkubus Sukkubus - Belladonna and Aconite
6. Colin Newman - Alone
7. The Cramps - The Way I Walk
8. Killing Joke - Birds of a Feather
9. The Fall - White Lightning
10. Ministry - The Land of Rape and Honey

Why let someone else do it. I'd do it myself, before I was dead. Thus, I get a better product as we have here. And why stop at 10 to 15 songs, as my life is determined by more than that.

"A Death Rede in Vignettes; or, 36 Films in 36 Days"

01. Alley-oop.
02. Michael, Row the Boat Ashore
03. Stonewall Jackson's Waterloo
04. El Paso
05. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down
06. Guantanamera
07. Secret Agent Man
08. Never Forsake Me
09. Waltzing Matilda
10. Let's Go Fly a Kite
11. Ghost Riders in the Sky
12. Turn, Turn, Turn
13. Three Bells
14. A Daisy a Day
15. Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport
16. Big Bad John
17. Deliah
18. Ringo
19. Loch Lommond
20. Seasons in the Sun
21. The Night Chicago Died
22. Wildfire
23. Moody River
24. The Unicorn
25. On Top of Old Smoky
26. The Reverend Mister Black
27. The Eve of Destruction
28. Ding! Dong! The Witch is Dead
29. The Hanging Tree
30. Seven Spanish Angels
31. A Scottish Soldier
32. The Circle of Life
33. When the Saints Go Marching In
34. Spirit in the Sky
35. Grandman Got Run Over by a Reindeer
36. I Am a Rock

They'd have to be worked on, so they'd be in some type of coherent order. Maybe I'd do them as a hstory of the world. That'd work. Or, maybe my whole idea is to be as incoherent as possible, but . . .

The humourous--The serious--The happy--The plaintive--The horrorfying--The calming--The thoughtful--The careless

I'd match them against anybody else's.
