Okay, I set the standard, but that's enough of you with two at a time!!  Smile Bluesad  Wink Thumbup

Oh!  And you don't know sh!t 'bout PINK FLOYD.  Meddle or Wish You Were Here or even The Wall are superior to Animals.
I love Animals and listening to it now that you've suggested it.   Thumbup TeddyR

Actually, I think I know quite bit about Floyd. Been listening to them since I was a kid. I remember when I got high and listened to Animals - I thought it was incredible. However, I don't think The Wall was one of their best, it has it's moments but overall I think it's totally overrated - it was pretty much the Roger Waters show and it didn't have much Gilmour influence. The album The Final Cut was much better even though it was supposed to be a Roger Waters solo album., I think - more concise and depressing than the Wall even though it's critically maligned. I think the reason I like Animals so much is that it really seemed like a team effort rather than Rogers vs. Gilmour. I do agree with you that Meddle is awesome though.I really like Live In Pompeii also - I think the version of "Echoes" is better than the album version.  Thumbup

66) Lizzy Borden-Visual Lies

An incredibly underrated band. Every couple of years, I discover an album that blows my mind with its awesomeness. THIS is that album.

I did write "...or even The Wall..."  That's a lot of commentary, glad you don't take me too seriously, but I see no mention of FLOYD's best by you, Wish You Were HereWink

If it were me picking a Floyd I'd go with either "Wish You Were Here" or "Dark Side of the Moon."  But instead I'll suggest

I'd say Wish You Were Here, by far, is their best work.  I'd second that with Meddle or Dark Side.
