Alright you want me to speak my mind...I will. At times, I feel like I don't belong anywhere in this world and even at times still feel an outsider here. At times, I really miss the old Scifilm board and getting a chance to write and express myself over there. I miss writing and wish I could get my butt back to doing a lot more of it. I miss IronWolfe, marthahunter, Bobby G and telegonus. At times, I have held back here because a lot of people might not like it that I wouldn't mind at all if every ounce of alcohol was wiped completely and utterly out of existence and I think the world would be a better place for it in many, many ways. Sometimes I'm "far too canadian" (as Spirit of the West once sang) and tend towards being a bit perhaps overly reserved and passive. I fear for today's kids growing up in a world that fosters so much drug use, even in the guise of medicines most don't even really need although many think they do. I love writing poems. I had a story idea in my head recently but then noticed the trailer for SUCKER PUNCH looks much the same...I hate that I'm getting older and it feels more and more like I've talked about every damn thing under the sun twice or three times already and I ain't even all that old yet. I wish there was more opportunity for creative people in the world and we didn't have to work crappy jobs while doing what we really love in our spare time. I hate that my home province promotes drinking as much as it does in its culture...it embarrasses me.

This forum is damn cool though. I love all the folks here who truly love the old-time stuff be it Universal Monsters, Film Noir, 50s Sci-Fi, Hammer & Amicus films and even the exploitation junk/thrash or should that be treasure of the 60s-70s. I love the genuine love for bad movies. At times though this forum definitely feels a lonely boys club that tends to get overexcited about the handful of girls (hey's there's actually girls in the comic book/geek/bad movie/cult movie site?!) who pop in here. Thankfully the gals are all super nice and don't seem to mind the attention...heck dare I say some even love it? Nothing wrong with that though...we're an odd group of bad movie loving folks, lonely and isolated in some ways but ultimately united on some level through this forum..

Windows 7 annoys the heell outta me...I still prefer XP. Posting here the post jumps up and down, up and down. Very annoying..it seems to be a 7 problem. That and the text jumping around and suddenly erasing at times.

Anyways I have a girlfriend so you know I'm not deprived like so many of you.
