Oh, please. You're not actually being serious are you? Actually, I think you are. Indy posted "I just added Barck (sic) Clinton to my list." There was no threat of violence in that quote.

Personally, I would never have dignified your blatantly rhetorical political post with a response, so I'm not defending Indy's. It's obvious you want to elicit such responses, then you turn around and post something as absurd as this. You're not fooling me.

Perhaps there was one implied, and I don't condone the post (I hope that's clear enough), but whether he is sincere about it or just venting is unclear. In any case, it's pretty obvious to me he's trying to incite responses like that. If he's trying to stir s**t up, fine, I got no problem with that, but I have no doubt in my mind that Barack Clinton is trying to entice a foul and then crying foul.

You like to stir up s**t, lester, but I've never minded the way you do it. I'm sure the fact that we share some fundamental values has something to do with it, and also your tendency to include reasoning to your arguments instead of pathetic tired rhetoric.

Ironically the person I would want to beat the s**t out of is moving to Texas. For clarity, this is no one on this board just a co-worker I can't stand. Holding back secrets during tech-transfer is just not cricket. Mercifully in 5 days he will be some other states problem and I will simply research out the problems, a minor set-back.  Us Hoosiers will celebrate his leaving

I stood with our entire secondary student body today and watched as a fallen U.S. Army Sargeant was brought home from Afghanistan. We lined the curb with hands over our hearts to show respect.  The "Patriot Guard" (a volunteer group of veterans who are bikers) was riding escort, and it seemed like the whole town turned out to pay their respects.
  Unlike Lester, I don't hate those who order our soldiers into combat.  I actually believe that America can be and has been a force for good in the world.  My respect for all those who have served our country in uniform knows no bounds.  Our current struggle is truly a case of good versus evil.

War is hell.  Everyone knows that, or should.
But peace that allows evil to go unopposed is far, far worse.

At ease, Sargeant. Job well done.

It's so ironic that the Westboro Baptists don't see (or do see and don't care) that their right to be disrespectful a*sholes came from the sacrifices of those they mock.

Sure, there are some who say "noone is dying for my freedom in Iraq" but they are fighting and dying so that someone else dosen't have to go out and do it. And that in itself is a form of freedom given to us thru the actions and sacrifices of others.

But, as sad as it is, we need these di*kwads to remind us of the true nature of ingratitude and disrespect, and to remind us of just what it is we fight for on a larger scale. Well, we really don't need them, but you get my drift.   Good post, Indy!
